Ray Bradbury is a science fiction and short story writer.He published his first science fiction story in pulp magazine in 1930. People say that he is a rare individual, whose writing has changed the way people think. From these actions is why peolpe say he is very important to American Literature. He was awarded the National Book Foundation's 2000 Medal for his contribution to American letters. He has won mostly every major fantasy fiction award there is.

Ray Bradbury was born on August 22, 1920, in Waukegan, Illinois. He was the third son of his family. Bradbury gives his son Ray the middle name of “Douglas”. Ray Bradbury grew up in Waukegan and he encouraged by his family. His mother was a Swedish immigrant. His father was working a power and phone lineman. He attended Los Angeles high school. He participated in the drama club. He wanted to become an actor. Ray Douglas Bradbury graduated from the high school in 1938. He did not go to college, but he educated himself at the local library.
Ray Bradbury is an American novelist and short stories writers. He spent too much time reading in the library and read articles for many writers. He used to sell the newspapers in Los Angeles streets from 1938 to 1942. he become a full time type writer in 1943.
Bradbury is a perfect playwright and essayist also.
Bradbury the author of the book Fahrenheit 451 changed many people’s thinking by his writing.
